Miss Great Britain 2010 finalists – party night!

I was asked by Liz Fuller who owns the Miss Great Britain Beauty Pageant [herself a winner in 1997] if I would take photographs of the contestants at a party the night before the 2010 final [to be held at the pier at Weston Super Mare]. The Double Tree by Hilton Cadbury House was the venue at Congresbury. I threw my lights and portable studio in the car and headed west through the snow. I ended up taking portraits and small groups of the 57 finalists that attended, as well as party shots, with a view of submitting them for publication. Finally I suggested a group shot in what seemed a very small space. It paid off. I would not want to be a judge as I found all the girls very beautiful! The Daily Star Sunday used the photograph.
