I first photographed Ilda a few years ago at Royal Ascot. I could see how well dressed she was and her photograph was used in Berkshire Life magazine who I was freelancing for. Over the years, and many photos later, we have become friends. Ilda came to the studio for a valentine themed photoshoot. We didn’t need a model as she was the ideal mannequin [stunning!] for the amazing heart shape hat she created for the shoot. Last year her hats featured heavily in the national press at Royal Ascot [Times front page]. If I were a lady I would be rummaging on her shelves.
