How glad I am I took up the opportunity to be photographed by Graham Reading. When Graham arrived, he was rather bemused to see the log I’d chosen to recline on for my Valentine photo-shoot. It jutted out precariously over the river Yar, and to get into position I had to do something very similar to walking the plank. Once I was sitting comfortably Graham realised he would have to perch in another riverbank tree to photograph me. The light was fading fast but thankfully Graham shared my creative vision, managing to make me feel both relaxed and confident, even when there was a chance that the pair of us might end up falling in the river (not too deep, but very muddy). I greatly admired his skill and determination to get the perfect shot!

I recently shot with Graham Reading with a super spontaneous idea in amazing locations of yellow flower beds and forest settings.

Much as one might be tempted to write a long and flowery letter concerning the quality of Graham’s work on the occasion of my marriage to Pamela Hooley, this is not necessary. In a word, it was perfect.
I will address a couple of issues which had been of concern prior to the wedding. One was the potential for intrusiveness during the service, but Graham captured every element of it, without our even being aware of his presence. The second concern was due to the cramped facilities at the reception; would he be able to get around to everyone? We need not have worried on that account either – every guest was captured!
There remains little else to say beyond the fact that if you are considering Graham for a photographic project, you should have no reason to hesitate.

Working with Graham Reading was an amazing experience and will allow me to catapult from amateur, to professional model. His abilities as a photographer allowed for the perfect mix of artistic expression, high fashion and catalogue imagery meaning that they are extremely useful in getting an agent and professional modelling jobs. I met Graham when he was working at a big charity ball as the photographer…next thing I know, my picture was in OK! magazine!
We kept in touch and I then hired him to take pictures at my birthday party with 150 guests…and Graham was brilliant..he really captured the evening, included everybody and got some really fantastic shots – especially of my family. He didn’t impose or have to stop our fun during the evening, just did his job! I had so many pictures to choose from afterwards, it became very difficult to choose..but was left with amazing photos of a very exciting and memorable night that went far too quickly… and the photos showed everyone else having a really great night too.
It was a lovely surprise to bump into him recently, working at another big celebrity charity ball, which then featured as a fabulous double page photo spread in OK! the next week… did I make it onto the photo spread? Of course!!

I was photographed by Graham Reading in 1990 when the new patron Cliff Richard visited the International Charity called Acet (Aids Care Education & Training).
Graham was responsible for taking the official photographs. He spent time at the London offices following Sir Cliff around as he met the different staff and some of the people the charity were caring for. He showed sensitivity in taking the photos but captured the event and provided the charity with many photographs that could be used for publicity.
He was able to help people relax and caught positive images of all involved. I still have the photos he took that I was in and often show it to friends and family as I feel it is a really good shot.
