I was approached at the end of a private photography lesson in Ryde by Maggie O’Neill and her friends Joshua Fortes and Fenella O’Brien who had just travelled from York, taking part in a University stunt to raise money for children’s cancer charity Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research. After photographing them, as asked, and treating them to local fish and chips, they went on to enjoy a brief stay on the Island, before seeking a lift home. The Wightlink http://www.wightlink.co.uk catamaran kindly gave them a free trip over.
