Ian had originally planned to pop the question at one of Europe’s most romantic cities but the lockdown put a stop to that. Ian was determined that this should go ahead on Tricia’s 50th birthday and proposed in her parent’s back garden, whilst delivering essential food supplies – and maintaining social distancing of course! Freelance press photographer Graham Reading offered to recreate a romantic Jack Vettriano picture on his early morning walk on Ryde Beach, and it developed into a romantic engagement shoot. Trish said – I had thought that Ian may propose at some point during this year and knew he would arrange something magical – it came as a wonderful surprise that Ian went ahead with the proposal. Ian said – It wasn’t what I had originally planned, but I am very happy that she said yes and the lockdown has meant that we have spent a lot of time together!
