While on a four day break with my family on holiday, I ‘bumped into’ Emma Sayle from The Sisterhood at Aberdeen Asset Management at Cowes week in the high street. Following a quick conversation Emma took me to the press office where I was quickly accredited with her help, and my photos, distributed by matrixpictures.co.uk of the Sisterhood on their yacht were used in The Daily Telegraph and The London Evening Standard. I then submitted the image used by The London Evening Standard to the monthly competition of the Society of Wedding and portrait photographers August competition – where my photograph received a ‘Highly commended’ score. http://swppusa.com/competition/displayimage.php?album=222&pid=10275#top_display_media Not bad for a day off!

My photograph of the London Thames river scene was judged ‘Highly Commended’ in the SWPP/BPPA monthly competition in the lanscape section, July 2012, where cityscapes can also be entered. http://swppusa.com/competition/displayimage.php?album=192&pid=9140#top_display_media It was taken at a wedding reception. The Bucks Advertiser and The South Bucks Star both picked up the story. Other awards I have won are listed on the website http://www.grahamreading.com/section377335.html
I was recently commissioned to take photographs for The Tanning Shop website. http://www.thetanningshop.co.uk/about-us/the-new-look-tanning-shop I visited the London Bridge and Islington shops.
I had the privilege to be invited to photograph Faye and Ross’s wedding – the amazing reception was on the River Thames and the sun made an unusual appearance in a very rainy summer. I took this stunning river view of Tower Bridge inbetween taking photographs of the happy couple by all the major landmarks between the Houses of Parliament and the O2 centre. It featured on the top of the blog www.topoftheblog.co.uk

I first met Laura Moore at a job I was photographing for OK! magazine. So impressed was I with her collection and her look that I invited her to collaborate in a spontaneous photo-shoot outdoors, knowing the results would be amazing. These are a few from loads we took, Laura’s work can be seen at http://www.facebook.com/LauraMooreFashion
Following the shoot Laura kindly wrote me the following testimonial;
“I recently shot with Graham Reading with a super spontaneous idea in amazing locations of yellow flower beds and forest settings. I have to say that shoot was absolutely fantastic and I really enjoyed it. Graham was extremely diverse and adaptable photo shooting to my ideas and he really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The shoot was fun, professional and really light hearted which shines through in the photographs. The results are truly outstanding and I am overwhelmed with the final pictures. The results are to a very high standard and I would highly recommend people to use Graham”s Reading’s photography for an occasion even if it is for a bit of spontaneous photography. I’d like to say a massive thank you for my amazing photographs and the feedback I have from them has been positively immense. Thank you. Laura Moore”

Timea came for a pre-wedding photo-shoot in a yellow rapeseed oil field. Although it was the first sunny day for ages, she wore wellies which came in very handy when we ventured into the muddy field. www.grahamreading.com
